Free Sleep Eye Mask Pattern

I've got a cute free eye mask sewing pattern for your guys that you can download from below, at end of supplies list,  then watch the video to go along with it. The sleepy time eye mask pattern uses soft, plush minky fabric as it's backing and comfortable foldover elastic. I LOVE the minky because it's so soft and comforting and as an added bonus, it also acts as a sort of light blocker because it's so thick and plush. I filmed it as an ASMR video with no music or talking because I actually have started to enjoy listening to all those packaging videos while I work. The sounds just kind of put me in the zone. Or, if you prefer, just turn down the volume and watch. It has clear written instructions the whole way through.

Supplies Needed for Basic Sleep Mask

• (2) 9”x11” pieces of cotton quilting fabric for front and back of eye mask
• (1) 9”x 11” piece of Minky fabric (I've linked to the black minky/cuddle fabric here)
• 14” length of 5/8” width FOE (fold over elastic) You can find it here in a large pack of various colors.

Where I Get My Fabric

I am a sucker for fabric and I love visiting quilt shops when I am out of town for a trip. I have to say though, that one of my favorite online shops to get fabric is from Shirley at Simply Sewn Fabrics in Argyle Texas. She has an Etsy shop with a WIDE variety of new, designer fabrics and she ships out SUPER FAST. The coolest thing though, its that she wraps and packages her shipments in such a way that when you open it, it's like you are getting a gift. She's folded it perfectly and tied it with a ribbon. I just love that! (and the super fast shipping!) It's where I purchased the majority of the fabrics for the projects I used in my book.
